Terms, subscriptions, cookies, and AI transparency

These notices explain the rules for using TOW Careers, how subscription access works, how cookies are used, and how AI-generated recommendations should be interpreted.

Terms of service

  • The service helps you analyse your CV, discover job opportunities, compare role fit, and generate application materials.
  • You are responsible for checking all generated CVs, cover letters, job matches, and application notes before using them.
  • The service does not guarantee interviews, offers, salary outcomes, employer responses, or successful applications.
  • You must not upload CVs or documents you do not have permission to process.
  • You must not use the service for unlawful, discriminatory, misleading, abusive, or automated mass-application activity.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the accuracy of the CV and preferences you provide.
  • We may suspend access where accounts are misused, payment fails, or a security risk is identified.

Subscription terms

  • Current advertised plans are Free Trial at £0, Pro at £15.99 per month, Premium at £30 per month, Executive at £40 per month, and the Managed Application add-on at £15 unless changed before checkout.
  • Subscription access starts after payment confirmation or an approved activation.
  • Billing, card details, invoices, renewals, and payment authentication are handled by the configured payment provider.
  • The billing period, renewal terms, cancellation route, and refund approach are shown before payment.
  • Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
  • Refunds, trials, discounts, and promotional terms are shown clearly at checkout where they apply.

AI transparency notice

  • Match scores are estimated decision-support signals, not hiring decisions or employment advice.
  • Generated CVs, cover letters, interview notes, and skill-gap recommendations may contain errors and must be reviewed by you before use.
  • The app explains why each role is recommended, including skills, seniority, location, industry, and missing requirements.
  • The app does not intentionally invent employers, dates, qualifications, certifications, tools, salaries, or outcomes that are not supported by your uploaded CV.
  • You should never submit generated application material without checking that it is accurate and truthful.

Data deletion and export

  • You can request deletion or use in-app deletion controls.
  • Deletion removes your CV analysis, generated documents, matches, applications, notifications, and feedback records for your account.
  • You can export your stored profile, matches, applications, generated packages, and feedback history.
  • Provider logs, billing records, backups, and legally required records may have separate retention periods.

Testimonials and feedback

  • Feedback is submitted for review before publication.
  • Published testimonials do not expose your email address.
  • Only submit feedback for publication if you are comfortable with the display name, role context, rating, and quote appearing publicly.
  • You can request removal or correction of published testimonials.

Liability and changes

  • The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your job search or use of the service.
  • We may update these terms; continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
